Big “welcome extras” on entertainment apps — how do you judge what’s actually usable?
I keep seeing new-user “starter extras” on different entertainment apps, sometimes with a big number in the headline.
The problem is I can’t tell what’s genuinely practical versus what’s mostly marketing language until I’m already deep into the details.
If you’ve dealt with these before, what do you check first so it stays simple, mobile-friendly, and not a time sink?
